Our Booster Club was founded under the name, Supporters of Young Artists Bayreuth e. V., on 10 July 2007. It exclusively pursues the goal of supporting the international renowned Bayreuth Festival of Young Artists in all of its cultural and political tasks.

Thus, the main purpose of the Club is to win friends and supporters for the Bayreuth Festival of Young Artists from all segments of the population and to promote art and culture as well as international youth work and understanding among nations through the communicative language of music.

Currently, the Booster Club has more than 300 members.

Thus, the Club contributes to securing the existence of the traditional Bayreuth Festival of Young Artists beyond its six-decade long existence – in 2010, the Festival will celebrate its 60th year anniversary.

Furthermore, the Club also supports the Festival ideationally, thus increasing its image and high profile.

With its commitment, the Club contributes significantly to the preservation of Bayreuth’s cultural diversity and it strives to propagate artistic quality in the city, the region, Bavaria and the world.
